Kobe Paras wins FIBA U18 Dunk Contest (VIDEO)

Kobe Paras, son of PBA legend and Got To Believe actor Benjie Paras, won the FIBA 3x3 Under-18 Dunk Contest in Jakarta Sunday night.

The La Salle Greenies player won after dunking over his teammate, Ateneo’s Thirdy Ravena, who was sitting on a motorcycle.

Paras, who advanced to the finals after topping the qualification pool Saturday, defeated USA’s Demonte Flannigan and Spains Antonio Morales for the title.

However, the 3x3 team from the Philippines failed to enter the quarterfinals when they lost to Czech Republic and the US during the final preliminary matches Saturday.

Congrats Kobe! The Philippines is proud of you.
