GMA-7’s Genesis will premiere October 14, taking the timeslot of the soon-to-conclude bekiserye, My Husband’s Lover. The new sci-fi drama series stars Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, his comeback to primetime TV after Pahiram Ng Sandali, which ended March this year.
Dingdong plays the role of a member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) in the new series and his duty is to protect the president. But will he still choose to save the lives of others even during the apocalypse?
Genesis also stars Rhian Ramos, TJ Trinidad and Lorna Tolentino. It is directed by Joyce Bernal and Mark A. Reyes. Jun Lana is the creative director.
