Marian Rivera renewed her contract with GMA-7 on Saturday, August 10, 2013, putting a stop to the rumors that she will be leaving the Kapuso Network for another channel.
The contract signing happened at the East-West Room of the Manila Golf and Country Club of Forbes Park in Makati.
To show how important the Kapuso Primetime Queen is to the network, all the top executives of GMA-7 attended the event, including chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, president and COO Gilberto Duavit, and executive vice president and CFO Felipe Yalong.
Meanwhile, Marian had with her representatives of Triple A Management who handles her career, Rams David and Mike Tuviera.
The projects that goes with the actress’s new 3-year contract are yet to be revealed this coming week, but she said there will be more series and sitcoms.
When asked what made her decide to stick with GMA-7 despite offers from other networks, she said:
“Walang dahilan para umalis ako sa GMA. Dahil isa lang ang gusto ko at maramdaman - ang pagmamahal - at ibinigay nila sa akin yun. Ramdam ko yun.”
