The much-awaited wedding of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza's characters in "Eat Bulaga's" Kalyeserye happened on Saturday, October 22, 2016, taking social media by storm with the hashtag #ALDUBWedding.

Majority of the key characters in Kalyeserye were present in the wedding. The three lolas, of course, were present, as well as Maine's dad Dudong (Vic Sotto), Alden's Lola Babah (Ai-Ai delas Alas), as well as Maine's classmate Jake (Jake Ejercito).
Maid of Honor was played by Maine's real-life sister Coleen, while Rodjun Cruz was the Best Man. The Baes were also there as secondary sponsors and groomsmen.
Mike Enriquez, Helen Gamboa and Joey de Leon were some of the primary sponsors.

Almost all the Dabarkads were present at the wedding. Ryzza Mae Dizon, Baste Granfon (and even his younger brother), the grandson of Tito Sotto, the daughter of Pia Guanio were all part of the entourage.
The kiss was actually the most anticipated part of the event. It was postponed (for a commercial gap) because Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola) passed out, but then what's a wedding without a kiss?
According to those who counted, Alden and Maine's first kiss as husband and wife lasted for 11 seconds. But you can clearly see where Maine's lipstick left a mark after the kiss.
