WATCH: Jimsen Jison sings 'Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin' ('Pinoy Boyband Superstar')

Jimsen Jison got a high 96% of votes from the female studio audience of "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" on Sunday, October 9, 2016. His good looks, confidence and deep DJ voice paved his way inside the judges' booth to showcase his singing.


The 20-year-old hopeful from Marikina City sang his version of the Lani Misalucha classic "Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin." He intelligently used headtones and falsetto to showcase his singing abilities.

When judge Vice Ganda noted that he sounded a little like singer Nyoy Volante, Jimsen confessed that tje acousyic singer is indeed his idol, as well as Jimmy Bondoc.

All four judges gave him their yeses and they're obviously happy that someone who is both good looking and could sing well stepped inside the booth.
