Aljur and Vin Abrenica's younger brother, Allen Abrenica, got a high percentage of votes (89%) from the female studio audience but got a unanimous "no" from judges Vice Ganda, Sandara Park, Yeng Constantino and Aga Muhlach.
His singing didn't impress the judges, and it's so sad because he stopped school just to join "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" because he felt it was already his calling. Well, there's always a next time, Allen!
OPM icon Marco Sison's son, Angelo Marco Sison, also auditioned and got 84% from the female studio audience. He sang one of his dad's hits, "Make Believe." His dad and father were with him in the studio during the audition, but it didn't help because he sounded nervous.
Or was it because of his vibrato? Or his lisp (which could be because of the dental braces)?
But Vice thought Angelo's singing could still be improved, and Aga wanted to still see him in the next round so he got two yeses.
The girl judges, however, thought he's not worthy of their yeses. Sandara and Yeng both gave Angelo their nos.
