MTV calls on fans to showcase their talent by asking them to cover a specific song for "MTV Cover of the Month." There's a specific song each month, and this October, it's Lukas Graham's smash hit "7 Years," a Best Song nominee for the 2016 MTV EMA.
Fans must cover the specified song, upload it on YouTube, then submit to coverofthemonth.MTV.com.
Highlighted covers will be featured on MTV's international programming, with the month's winner receiving a trophy, recurring on-air spot that month, possible shout-out from the original artist of the month's song, and will be featured across MTV's international social platforms and websites.
Meanthile, the fan who will get the title of winner of the year will get song recording and music video produced by and promoted on MTV around the world.
