CONGRATULATIONS EDWARD!!! #PBBTheBigJump pic.twitter.com/eBGUQ0xqWW— Pinoy Big Brother (@PBBabscbn) October 28, 2016
Edward, 15, won the challenge against Cornillo "Yong" Muhajil, 17, and Christian Morones, 15.
The flags that they got from their ex-housemates as well as from current housemates Kisses Delavin and Maymay Entrata during the inquiry aired Thursday night played a big factor in the challenge. One flag is equivalent to one minute that they were able to use to freeze their opponents.
Christian got only one flag (from evicted housemate Aizan Perez); Edward had three (from evicted teens Rita Gaviola, Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo); and Yong got five (from Kisses and Maymay, as well as from ex-housemates Fenech Veloso, Kristine Hammond and Vivoree Esclito).
It turned out that both Edward and Yong used their flags to slow down Christian, who could have been the first to finish the electronic maze if not for the "freezes."
Christian obviously got distracted when Edward finished the maze ahead of him, but still got to the puzzle part with his mom while Edward and his sister were still at it.
Time, however, played a big part in the puzzle challenge and Edward, being the first one to do the puzzle, finished first. He got the first of the three "suns" which represent the Big 3 teens in the "PBB: Lucky Season 7" teen edition.
