Dick Israel (Ricardo Michaca in real life) passed away on Tuesday in his home in Makati City. He was 68 years old.
The character actor reportedly vomited blood before he died at around 8 pm of October 11, 2016 in his home in Comembo.
His remains were eventually brought to St. Peter Memorial Chapels in Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
Dick suffered a stroke in 2010, paralyzing half of his body. He still hasn't recovered from the stroke when his house burned down earlier this year. A photo asking for support for the actor went viral on the internet last July.
Among the last movies that Dick Israel was seen in include "Enteng Ng Ina Mo" (2011) and "Boy Golden" (2013).
He was also part of the soaps "Zorro" (GMA-7) and "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" (ABS-CBN) in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
