The CSMS is a "gathering of social media communicators, bloggers, photographers, and writers" with an aim to teach how to spread the Gospel through social media.
"Eat Bulaga!'s" KalyeSerye, where Maine became an instant celebrity for portraying the character of Yaya Dub alongside Wally's Lola Nidora, has been getting constant praises from the Catholic church for promoting the right values, specifically regarding courtship.
Nidora's words of wisdom have also been commended, as they remind the viewers of old Filipino customs that a large number of the youth in this age of technology may not even know about.
CSMS is "organized by YouthPinoy, a group of online missionaries." The summit is now on its 4th year.
