Angel Locsin renewed her contract with ABS-CBN on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
The contract came days after it was announced that Angel will no longer play Darna in the upcoming movie adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic.

The actress played the said heroine role on television when she was still with GMA-7.
Angel revealed that part of the contract is a new movie and a TV series. That's aside from her upcoming movie with Vilma Santos and Xian Lim.
She also confirmed that she will be having a project with Coco Martin, whom she already had a chance to work with last January for a "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode.
