Denise sang the "Maria Mercedes" theme in Spanish while wearing a very Thalia dress.
The performance instantly became judge Jed Madela's "most favorite" and described it as "perfect." Gary Valenciano also said it was "excellent." Georcelle Dapat-Sy, who was pinch-hitting for Sharon Cuneta together with Annie Quintos, said the number was hot and sexy.
