Alden Richards' albums now both certified platinum

Both of Alden Richards' albums have already turned platinum!

On Friday afternoon, GMA Records revealed that Alden's album "Wish I May" has already received a Platinum Record Award.

The record label uploaded on Facebook part of the certification awarded by PARI which shows that the heartthrob's sophomore album turned platinum in less than a week after its release last October 17, 2015.

Before the said album was officially released, however, it has already turned gold due to digital sales and pre-orders. Alden received its gold record award hours before the grand launch last Oct. 17.

Meanwhile, on Friday evening, Universal Records, producer of Alden's self-titled debut album, also revealed on Facebook that "Alden Richards" the album has already sold more than 15,000 units and has also turned platinum.

The said album was released two years ago but has only reached its gold status just last September, two months after Alden's AlDub love team with Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub was formed.
