Maine Mendoza aka "Eat Bulaga!'s" Yaya Dub has caught the attention of a Broadway producer who has flown to Manila to meet with the #KalyeSerye star.
Shea Arender, the producer, arrived last Saturday, October 17, 2015.
Last August, Arender posted on his Facebook page that he was looking for a new actress for a new comedy musical when he came across Maine.
Meanwhile, prior to his arrival, Arender has posted a lot about his coming to Manila on his FB page.
His posts about Maine and coming to Manila were his most-liked posts.
On Monday, Oct. 19, he held a press conference where he talked about the possibility of staying in the Philippines a little longer to produce a musical for Maine and act alongside the her.
"I see myself recording doing an acting project with her," he said, as quoted by pep.ph.
While the possibility of Maine in a play is exciting, some say Arender just wants to ride along the popularity of the AlDub tandem which has always been on Twitter's top trending worldwide topics since July.
