Anne Curtis' first outing as Dyesebel wins in TV ratings

Anne Curtis was first seen as the grown-up Dyesebel in ABS-CBN's adaptation of the Mars Ravelo classic mermaid story on Tuesday, April 1, and the episode won big in national TV ratings.

Dyesebel

This is proven by the data from Kantar Media, where “Dyesebel” topped the list of most watched TV programs in the country with a national TV rating of 32.8%, or 16 points higher than its rival program in GMA “Kambal Sirena” (16.7%).

Aside from Anne, TV viewers also waited for the first appearance of Gerald Anderson, Andi Eigenmann, and Sam Milby in the fantasy series. The same episode of “Dyesebel” also launched the first ever teleserye theme song of Broadway Diva Lea Salonga titled “Tangi Kong Kailangan” that she recorded with ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra. The “Dyesebel” theme song was written by Francis and Carla Concio.

How will the lives of Dyesebel, Fredo (Gerald), Betty (Andi) and Liro (Sam) change as their paths cross and as they discover the worlds of humans and mermaids?
