Asia’s longest-running drama anthology, Maalaala Mo Kaya, pays tribute to grandparents in the episode this Saturday (September 8) that stars Boots Anson-Roa, Pinky Marquez and Coney Reyes.
The three veteran actresses star in a heartwarming story about three loving grandmothers.
Despite their different personalities and priorities in life, Lola Joy (Coney), Lola Jane (Pinky) and Mamaita Rose (Boots) were able to find unity and showed love to each other when their grandson Travelito was born.
Witness the sacrifices these grandmothers had to make to ensure their grandson’s welfare and what pain they went through when Travelito was taken away from them in the episode directed by Darnel Villaflor from the script written by Joan Habana and researched by Alexandra Martin.
Also in the episode are Biboy Ramirez, Karel Marquez, Ryan Ramos, and Justin Gonzales.
Maalaala Mo Kaya airs Saturdays after Wansapanataym on ABS-CBN.
