Kuya Kim meets Lolong in Matanglawin (Sept 9)

Kim ‘Kuya Kim’ Atienza gets face-to-face with Lolong, the world’s largest crocodile in captivity, in Matanglawin this Sunday (September 9).

Lolong, the world's largest crocodile in captivity

Kuya Kim visits Lolong at the Bunawan Eco Park as a celebration of the anniversary of its captivity by the locals on Sept. 3, 2011.

Lolong was measured last November by Dr. Adam Britton of the National Geographics. Measuring 6.17 meters, the crocodile was then recognized by Guinness Book of World Records as the largest crocodile in captivity last July. The local government of Bunawan, which has the custody of Lolong, received the certification from Guinness on July 2.

Meanwhile, Kuya Kim will also meet Loloy, the only person who can tame Lolong, and learn how to feed and even tend to Lolong’s injuries.

The Trivia King will also discover what else Bunawan and the Agusan Marsh in Agusan del Sur have to offer aside from producing the world-renowned crocodile.

Don’t miss the episode! Matanglawin airs Sundays, 9:15 AM, on ABS-CBN.
