“The Road” – US Trailer

Check out the US trailer of Yam Laranas’ The Road. The GMA Films-produced movie will have a red carpet premiere at the Mann Chinese Theater in Los Angeles and will be shown in 50 theaters across the US starting May 11.

Stars of the movie who will walk the red carpet will be Rhian Ramos, Alden Richards, TJ Trinidad and Marvin Agustin together with the director.

The movie will be released internationally via Freestyle Releasing, an LA-based international releasing company.

While The Road is the first Pinoy film to be released commercially in mainstream US markets, it is not the first commercially-released Pinoy film in the said country. Before this, other locally-made films that was exhibited in North America include Genghis Khan in 1953, Siete Infantes de Lara (Sons of the Devil) in 1954, Ang Salarin (The Man With A Gun) in 1965, and Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop sa Balat ng Lupa (Island in the Sun) in mid-70s among others.

  3. Thank you so much for understanding. We make claims to inspire and not to compete with other Filipino filmmakers.
    I wish you well.
