After celebrating her birthday with the orphan kids of Quezon City recently, Kim Chiu says she can relate to the kids because she grew up without her parents as well.
She clarifies, though, that unlike the orphans, she didn’t feel unloved while she was growing up because she had her grandmother and siblings.
When asked by The Buzz host Charlene Gonzales if she held any grudge against her parents for leaving them, she said no. She also said that she accepted that fact as her destiny, something that she cannot change.
That same destiny, however, taught her to strive hard and made her become what she is at the present.
Kim’s birthday wishes include good health and more projects. And speaking of projects, she’s currently doing three movies, one of which is a drama with Star For All Seasons Vilma Santos. She felt so blessed when she got chosen to star opposite the veteran actress and confessed that she was so star-struck when she first met her.
The other movie projects she’s doing is her movie team-up with My Binondo Girl love team Xian Lim, and the Star Magic 20th anniversary presentation which pairs her again with ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
