The top 5 of the hit singing reality show American Idol 11 has been named and Filipino-Mexican contestant Jessica Sanchez was still favored by Americans to stay in the competition.
Elise Testone got evicted last night. She had been in the bottom three numerous times along with Hollie Cavanagh who was again part of it this time. They were joined by Skylar Laine but she was immediately made safe.
Jimmy Iovine, the resident mentor to the contestants, said both of Elise’s song choices were bad. She did Queen’s I Want It All and Jimi Hendrix’s Bold As Love. (Click here to watch Elise Testone’s Top 6 Performances.)
Jimmy called the Queen song a monotone stadium anthem, but despite the bad song choices, he called Elise a great singer.
