The Voice 2: Cheesa sings “I Have Nothing”; survives instant elimination

Filipino-American Cheesa Laureta sang Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing in the recent quarterfinals round of The Voice season 2, and she gained nothing but praises from Christina Aguillera and her mentor, Cee Lo Green.

Cheesa’s fans and family for sure gave a sigh of relief when Cee Lo didn’t pick Cheesa for instant elimination. The mentor chose James Massone from among his four remaining contestants to send home.

The fate of Cheesa, Juliet Simms and Jamar Roders now depends on who America would vote for.
