Christian Bautista is contemplating on becoming a Kapatid

TV5 allegedly wants Christian Bautista to be the host of their upcoming reality singing competition, Kanta Pilipinas, but that is, if the Asian sensation would choose to become a Kapatid.

Christian’s contract with ABS-CBN ends this August and the singer would like to see first if there would be more opportunities for him in the Kapamilya network.

He also admitted that there had been talks between his camp and the Kapatid network but there hasn’t been any final decisions made.

Recently, Derek Ramsay chose not to renew his contract with ABS-CBN and instead signed up with TV5. His reason was that he wanted to have shows that are in the zone of his interest (sports).

Before him, however, some of the celebrities that transferred from ABS-CBN to TV5 were Willie Revillame, Sharon Cuneta and Mariel Rodriguez.
