Three new programs were introduced last Monday, April 16, on ABS-CBN, two of which ranked well nationwide according to the survey done by Kantar Media among national households.
The pilot episode of Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo starring Shaina Magdayao, Jake Cuenca and Bangs Garcia ranked fifth in the daytime race with 11.9% of viewers share. The new series replaced Angelito: Batang Ama, the finale episode of which ranked second last Friday.
The much-awaited Kathryn Bernardo-starrer, Princess and I, got a high 31.7% of viewers share in the primetime block, making it the second most-watched program last Monday night. The series, which replaced E-Boy in its timeslot, also stars Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla and Khalil Ramos, although they are yet to be seen in the program.
Walang Hanggan, on the other hand, was still unbeatable at the top rank with 36.3%.
Dream High, the Tagalized Korean series which replaced City Hunter, was nowhere in the top 10.
