Phillip Phillips picked Usher’s U Got It Bad and Wilson Pickett’s In The Midnight Hour for American Idol 11 Top 7 Redux performance show.
Randy Jackson called him a great artist after singing the Usher song, while Jennifer Lopez called the performance “sexy.”
Phillip was also praised for his second song, In The Midnight Hour. Randy said they could feel his emotion everytime and Steven said he is loved by everyone because of who he is.
