Rhian Ramos filed a petition earlier today at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court for Temporary and Permanent Protection Order versus Mo Twister. It was with regards to the abortion controversy that Rhian got involved into after Mo's video was uploaded to YouTube allegedly without his consent.
The petition was to stop Mo Twister (Mohan Gumatay in real life) from releasing more videos and statements that could destroy the image of Rhian Ramos.
After being silent since the controversy broke out, Rhian gave a short statement yesterday. "I think more than what the people has seen, I have been hurt over a longer period of time, unnecessarily, and I think, undeserved." she told reporter Sandra Aguinaldo during the actress' meeting with her lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan. "I just hope to be able to put an end to that today so that hopefully I can move on."
Rhian wouldn't answer questions from reporters. Her lawyer, though, said that the questions "will be answered in due course."
At the meeting, Rhian signed a complaint against Mo. According to her lawyer, Mo Twister violated Republic Act 9262, or more commonly referred to as Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004. It was the same petition that was filed today at the Muntinlupa RTC.
