The 17-year-old son of Piolo Pascual said he was bullied in school when he was a kid because of his father's being in the entertainment industry.

"If there's bad news about my dad, parang inaasar ako na, 'Oh there's bad news about your dad,'" he told "Bandila," ABS-CBN's late night news. "I actually had to move schools once kasi 'yun nga, 'yung na-bully ako."

Being bullied was also the reason why his parents decided to bring him to the U.S. They wanted him to have a normal childhood.

"'Yun na rin yung reason why I moved to the states. My parents wanted me to have a normal childhood growing up," he added.

He also commented about the news that his dad had him DNA tested when he was a child. The issue came out when Piolo's sister, Chiqui Gonzales, was interviewed by E! News Asia for a feature on the "Hawak Kamay" actor that aired last September 28.

Iñigo said he wasn't hurt by the revelation.

"That's not a bad thing. Like we just had to check if it's real and all that. It was never a bad thing for me," he said.

Iñigo topbills "Relaks, It's Just Pag-ibig" together with Sofia Andres and Julian Estrada. Directed by Irene Villamor and Antoinette Jadaone, the movie is about 16-year-olds who believe in the blue moon's promise of true love.

Released by Star Cinema, the movie was produced by Spring Films, the indie film production company founded by Piolo. It opens in cinemas nationwide on November 12, 2014.
