Coco Martin does not only play superhero in the primetime series Juan Dela Cruz, but he’s hero in real life as well.
The Kapamilya Drama King actively participates in several “Juan Fun School Day” that not only bring his superhero character in person to the less fortunate kids, but also provide them with school supplies.
“Because of the show and our advocacy projects, I do not only delight people through acting. I also get the chance to get to know, bond, and help our viewers who are in need. It’s a different kind of joy when people, especially the youth, tell me that I inspire them,” Coco said.
Coco also pays tribute to all the viewers who continuously make Juan Dela Cruz the number 1 television program in the country since it premiered on primetime TV last February.
“I’m really touched with our audience’s solid support. For almost a year, they joined Juan’s journey and adventures - from his childhood, to his mission as the Tagabantay, and now in his struggles as the Anak ng Dilim,” he said.
Meanwhile, Coco gives a promise to TV viewers that the next episodes of Juan dela Cruz will be more mind-blowing as they count down to the last 15 nights of Juan’s journey.
“There are still a lot of revelations that all of us should watch out for in the last three weeks of the show. Who will sacrifice his or her life to stop Peruha’s (Diana Zubiri) evil plans? Will Juan and Rosario (Erich Gonzales) have a happy ending? In the end, will Juan be able to save the world from the dangers of other mythical creatures,” shared Coco about the nearing finale of Juan dela Cruz on October 25 (Friday).
Don’t miss the last three weeks of Philippine television’s favorite superhero Juan dela Cruz weeknights after TV Patrol on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.
