Ryan Bang and Dara have met in Korea when the former recently visited his native country to tape an episode for Studio 23’s Eskwelahan Ni Ryan Bang.
Before the meeting, the two were seen exchanging public messages on Twitter talking about a meet-up.
They have, however, already met in the Philippines when the 2NE1 star visited the country for a vacation in 2011. It was followed by another one earlier this year when Ryan and his It’s Showtime co-host Vhong Navarro visited South Korea.
Ryan and Dara met at Yeolbong, a chicken restaurant in Seoul. Based on the caption of Ryan’s Instagram post (above photo), it was Dara who treated him out to lunch.
Meanwhile, Dara also posted a photo of the two of them on her Instagram account captioned with: “Yeolbong chicken with Ryan Bang!!! :) ingat kayo pagbalik ng Phil!!!”
Both Ryan and Dara were products of ABS-CBN reality shows. Dara, then known as Sandara Park, was a runner-up in Star Circle Quest. She later became very popular as a comedienne with quite a number of movies and TV shows under her belt. She, however, chose to fly back to Korea where she eventually became a member of the girl group 2NE1.
Ryan, on the other hand, also had a runner-up finish in the Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010. His funny antics led him to eventually become a hurado in It’s Showtime and later on as a co-host.
