Mitoy Yonting of Team Lea got a very high 82.29% of text votes during the second Live Show of The Voice Of The Philippines held Sunday night at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
He sang Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now and the fun he was feeling on stage radiated to the audience who stood up and cheered him on all throughout his performance. Check it out below.
He was declared automatically safe for getting the highest percentage of votes, leaving the fate of his teammates Kimpoy Mainit and Diday Garcellano in the hands of their coach, Lea Salonga.
Kimpoy was eventually saved by Lea, eliminating Diday who cried even before her name was announced. She somehow knew all along that her performance wasn’t at par with Kimpoy’s.
