The hit singing reality show The Voice is coming to the Philippines.
ABS-CBN has recently acquired the franchise of The Voice and proof to that is director Lauren Dyogi’s tweet announcing two international audition dates.

I wonder why they’re holding auditions in Los Angeles and San Francisco ahead of the Philippines but surely audition dates and venues for the country will soon be announced as well.
Last August, ABS-CBN News had an article about Robi Domingo where he mentioned that he had a long talk with Direk Lauren.
“Direk Lauren Dyogi and I had a talk, actually it was such a long talk, umabot ng isang oras and he has plans for me. I’m also eyeing for this project called 'The Voice.' They’re making a franchise here,” Robi said.
People loved Robi when he hosted Pinoy Big Brother and he would surely add a youthful air to The Voice of The Philippines once it airs.
The Voice was created by John de Mol, the Dutch media tycoon who also created Big Brother, Fear Factor, 1 vs 100, and Deal Or No Deal among others.
The American franchise of The Voice has Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Ceelo Green as coaches. I wonder who will the Kapamilya network tap for the job.
With auditions just starting, The Voice of The Philippines will probably air sometime after the upcoming season of Pilipinas Got Talent. And, of course, PGT will air after The X Factor Philippines wraps up. Now that would be one reality competition series after another, after another!
