Diana Zubiri has just signed a contract with ABS-CBN, leaving GMA-7 in the process.
Three months ago, Diana won her very first acting award for her performance in the indie film Bahay Bata. And did the acting award suddenly made the Kapamilya network interested in her?
I guess Diana is indeed taking acting seriously, especially that she is currently enrolled as a Theater Arts student at the Miriam College.
Among her last projects in the Kapuso network are supporting roles in Amaya and Spooky Nights.
We can’t blame Diana if “career growth” is her reason for choosing to become a Kapamilya. Those who have transferred before her has been getting meatier roles like Iza Calzado and Paulo Avelino to name a few. Let’s just hope that Diana will be given such breaks.
