The second official trailer for The Bourne Legacy has been released and the two-minute 39-second video shows some scenes of the movie that were filmed in the Philippines!
The movie made noise in the Philippines when its main cast and crew flew to the country for a 45-day location shoot in the streets of Manila and in Palawan. The shoot began January 11, 2012, which led to the temporary closure of Leveriza Street as well as Quirino Avenue and San Andres.
Directed by Tony Gilroy, The Bourne Legacy stars Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz. Gilroy also wrote the script with his younger brother Dan.
It is the fourth movie in the Bourne series, and despite earlier report, The Bourne Legacy is said to be a stand-alone project and "not a reboot or a recast or a prequel," said Gilroy who also made it clear that "no one's replacing Matt Damon."
Damon starred in the first three films – The Bourne Identity (2002), The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). He refused to do the fourth movie without Paul Greengrass (director of the second and third movies) who decided not to return as director of the fourth.
