The first teaser trailer of the upcoming movie The Bourne Legacy has been released. The movie made quite a buzz in the local scene when its cast and crew flew over to the country for a 45-day location shooting in the streets of Manila and in Palawan.
The Bourne Legacy stars Jeremy Renner, Edward Norton and Rachel Weisz. The movie is directed by Tony Gilroy, who also wrote the script together with his younger brother Dan.
The movie is the fourth movie in the Bourne series, and despite earlier report, The Bourne Legacy is said to be a stand-alone project and "not a reboot or a recast or a prequel," said Gilroy who also made it clear that "no one's replacing Matt Damon."
Damon starred in the first three films – The Bourne Identity (2002), The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). He refused to do the fourth movie without Paul Greengrass (director of the second and third movies) who decided not to return as director of the fourth.
