The French silent film The Artist won four awards at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards held on Thursday (January 12) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. Set in the 1920s, the movie has been received with critical acclaim and its winning Best Picture at the CCMA just proved its success.
The Help, on the other hand, received three recognitions including Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Acting Ensemble.
The ceremony, which was broadcast live on VH1, was hosted by Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel.
