American Idol 7 runner-up David Archuleta, who is currently in the country for an acting job, has already begun shooting for the TV5 teleserye titled Nandito Ako.
The series is David's first acting job ever and he confessed in an interview that acting is something he wants to get better at.
"It would be something I'd love to work on more because it would be something I'd like to do," David told TV5's Aksyon. "I feel like I wanna get better at it."
David sang a line of the series' theme song and I'm sure it would be a hit among the girls.
"It wasn't as challenging as I thought it'd be," David said about learning to sing the Tagalog song.
If that's the case, perhaps TV5 should get him to sing more Tagalog songs in the future.
In the series, David plays the role of an international pop star named Josh who got separated from his mother when he was just five years old.
Directed by Mac Alejandre, David's two leading ladies in the series are Eula Caballero and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
