Andi Eigenmann to Topbill Pinoy Remake of "Maria Mercedes"

Andi Eigenmann is coming back on television after giving birth to a healthy baby girl. She is now preparing for the role of Maria in the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Mexican TV series, Maria Mercedes.

Last October 2011, Andi said on Kris TV that the role was offered to her by ABS-CBN  just before her unexpected pregnancy occurred. And because she wouldn't be able to portray the role while pregnant, the Kapamilya network waited for Andi to give birth.

They could have given the role to someone else, but they seem to believe that only Andi is fit for the role.

Dubbed as Heiress of Drama, she is actually getting ready for her comeback on TV. She's now trying to lose weight to be fit for the role.

Rumored leading man is Martin del Rosario who Andi had alredy worked with in Minsan Lang Kita Iibigan.
