After the success of Inside Showbiz Live! last year, Inside Showbiz magazine once again staged a mini-concert last Sunday, January 15th, at the Glorietta Activity Center in Ayala Center, Makati.
Six recording artists from Star Records treated their fans and the readers of Inside Showbiz magazine to two hours of live performances.
Among the performers were Jovit Baldivino, Liezel Garcia, Bugoy Drilon, Yeng Constantino, Juris Fernandez and Erik Santos.
Fans screamed and had photo ops with their singing idols especially that most of them went down the stage to sing among the audience.
So sad to hear Jovit's voice so hoarse. According to the Pilipinas Got Talent winner, he had just arrived from Cebu where he had a show for the Sinulog festival. He still got through the performance with flying colors, though.
Yeng was so fun to watch especially when she did the Eraserheads medley. She had this great connection with the audience especially that her fans were all over the venue.
It's so calming to see Juris who made the audience sing along to Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin and 'Di Lang Ikaw. She had a guitarist to accompany her and it somehow made me wish she was still with Chin Alcantara.
Last to perform was Erik Santos who made the girls in the audience come up in front of the stage. One girl who Erik picked to go up the stage with him even slipped and fell. But it paid off, I guess, because Erik hugged her tight for so long I'm sure the other girls went green with envy.
There were also bring-me games in between performances where the winners got paper bags of goodies from sponsors like Gibi Shoes, The Medical City, Glutamax, Fresh Look Cosmetic Contact Lenses, The Face Shop, and Sisters Feminine Pads.
