Although new in the acting scene, Mikael Daez says showbiz is not really new to him for he had been doing print and commercial modeling for quite some time now.
Mikael had been cast as one of Marian Rivera's leading men in the upcoming GMA-7 epicserye Amaya. But before the epicserye airs, the model-turned-actor will be first seen in the weekly comedy show Spooky Nights Presents: Bampirella which also stars the GMA primetime queen. It will air its pilot episode on Saturday, March 26, at 7:30 PM.
Mikael says he's very honored to be working with Marian. In an interview with igma.tv, the 22-year-old hunk says, "Siyempre [of course], I’m nervous. Anlaki ng role [It's a big role], I’m with Marian Rivera, sobrang sikat na niya [she's already a big star], she’s amazing. She’s an amazing actress. So there’s a lot of pressure, but at the same time, exciting.”
Mikael Daez is a true-blooded Atenean, having studied in Ateneo de Manila University from grade school until he graduated with a degree in BS Business Administration. He has appeared in various TVCs like Dole, SM, and Jollibee Champ.
