While shooting for an action scene, Martin accidentally pulled the trigger of his gun that was pointed at Andi. The gun was containing a blank bullet that would just emit fire and a loud banging sound. But blank bullet as it may, the gun was so close to Andi that she felt pain. The jacket and shirt the young actress was wearing had holes where she was shot, which was at the side of her body near the chest. Andi said she panicked when she saw blood.
Andi was immediately brought to St. Luke's Hospital by costar Maja Salvador and some members of the production crew. They learned that Andi got a second degree burn from the shot.
Martin, on the other hand, immediately apologized to Andi. The actor was so sorry and said that it really wasn't intentional.
As professional as she is, Andi had immediately forgiven Martin. She understands that things like that happen.
Andi is currently recovering in her Quezon City home.
