Originally done by Thalia, the Mexican telenovela has already been shown in 45 countries, including the Philippines. The Philippine remake will have Erich Gonzales in the role played by Thalia. Enchong Dee, on the other hand, will play the role of Luis Fernando which was originally portrayed by Fernando Colunga.
This is Erich's first starring role in a primetime series. The last primetime soap she appeared in was Magkaribal where she played the supporting role of Chloe Abella. Enchong Dee also played her love interest in the said series.
