After "Kristine," Zanjoe Marudo Stars in "Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Hiyas"

Zanjoe Marudo stars in the next Precious Hearts Romances series entitled Hiyas.

Zanjoe Marudo plays the role of Silang, a man searching for a gem (hiyas). As you can see in the pic, the hunky actor has tattoos on his back, upper arms, and legs, plus he is sporting a long braid to complete the tribal look.

Aside from the backdrop of the picture, which will surely appeal to nature lovers, Zanjoe's look tells us that Hiyas will take us back in time. Some sort of a period movie that will perhaps go head-to-head with GMA-7's upcoming epicserye, Amaya.

Also in the cast of Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Hiyas are Megan Young as Zanjoe's leading lady, Joross Gamboa, John Arcilla, Edward Mendez, Nonie Buencamino, Kristel Moreno, and Neri Naig.

This upcoming series is directed by Adolfo Alix, Jr. (Batanes, D'Survivors).
