Lea Salonga to perform with Patti Austin in ‘Voice PH’

Lea Salonga and Patti Austin will be reunited in The Voice Of The Philippines stage during this Sunday’s live show.

The two have performed together back in 2010 in a series of  shows in the U.S. and the 62-year-old jazz artist even referred to the Filipina singer as her “sister-girlfriend” during a Bandila interview Thursday night.

Lea and Patti have been rehearsing for their Sunday performance where they will be joined by the non-competing Voice PH contestants. It was confirmed by Lea herself on her Twitter account.

"Why yes, the non-competing 8 artists on #VoicePHLive will be singing with yours truly and the one and only @pattiaustin. LOVE HER!!!" Lea posted Friday night.

Talk about being lucky.

Meanwhile, the Top 16 will be trimmed to 8 starting this Sunday, and for that, the show is getting more exciting. Don’t miss The Voice Of The Philippines, airing Saturdays at 9 PM and Sundays at 8:15 PM on ABS-CBN.
