We have been seeing teasers of the upcoming Carmina Villaroel-Zaijian Jaranilla-starrer Lorenzo’s Time, and our excitement fired up even more when ABS-CBN released the full trailer of the series last night.
Lorenzo’s Time, as redundant as it may sound, is a story about time. Enzo (Zaijian) was born with an extremely rare genetic condition called progeria, which is known to speed up the aging process of a person. They had to put Enzo under cryonics, which is described as the low-temperature preservation of humans and animals who can no longer be sustained by contemporary medicine, with the hope that healing and resuscitation may be possible in the future.

Anyway, Enzo woke up 30 years later, to find that his parents and sibling were all gone and he only had his yaya left. Furthermore, Kat Kat, his childhood “syota,” was already a grown woman with a daughter that looked like her when she was a child.
Aside from the love story between Enzo and Kat Kat, however, there’s also the problem with Enzo’s evil aunt played by Amy Austria-Ventura. She took over the company left by Enzo’s dad, and, of course, she has evil plans.
Lorenzo’s Time also stars Gina Pareño, Joel Torre, Alfred Vargas, James Blanco, Rommel Padilla and Belinda Mariano. Playing short roles were John Estrada and Dimples Romana as the parents of Enzo, Kaye Abad as the young Amy, and Christian Bautista as Enzo’s doctor.
This new series is reported to take the timeslot that will be emptied by Dahil Sa Pag-ibig which is nearing its finale.
