Ethan Salvador got 88% of votes from the female studio audience during his "Pinoy Boyband Superstar" audition that was aired on Saturday, October 15, 2016. He also exhibited his breakdancing skills which perhaps helped, along with his good looks, in getting the girls to vote for him.
Ethan sang Smash Mouth's "All Star" to impress the judges and he was able to get three yeses out of four, putting him through to the next stage of the competition.
Here's what the judges said:
Yeng Constantino: "Sa pagkanta medyo kulang pa pero hindi ko made-deny, e, gwapo ka, may something ka maiko-contribute sa isang boyband. Yes!"
Sandara Park: "'Yong pagkanta mo kailangan mo pa i-practice pero sa tingin ko magandang may isang B-Boy sa grupo, 'di ba? So, it's a yes."
Vice Ganda: "You're good looking but I don't see the x-factor. No for now."
Aga Muhlach: "The voice is not there but I believe na kung pag-aaralan mo 'yong kanta just for that thing, kaya mo 'yan. I give you a yes."
