'The Voice Kids PH 2' Sing Off - Reynan and Esang are Team Lea's Top 2

The Sing Off round of "The Voice Kids Philippines" season 2 has begun, and it's the Top 6 of Team Lea that first took the stage on Sunday, August 9, 2015.

Jonalyn Pepito was the first one to perform with Fantasia Barrino's "I Believe," a good song choice to showcase her powerful vocals.

Coach Lea Salonga was very proud of Jonalyn because the young artist was able to give her the performance that she asked for during the rehearsals.

Akisha Sianson chose Hunter Hayes' "Invisible" to convince her coach that she's worthy of the live shows. She became emotional when she was told to visualize her grandmother telling her the lyrics of the song. She's a lola's girl and her lola is the source of her strength.

The third to take the stage was Esang De Torres, who once impersonated Lea Salonga in "It's Showtime's" Mini-Me contest. She sang Leah Navarro's "Isang Mundo" in the Sing Off and she was so relaxed you could see her enjoying her performance.

Coach Lea was so happy that she stood up and shouted at the end of Esang's performance.

Young heartthrob Luke Alford from Batangas was the 4th to sing with Adele's "Skyfall" that he dedicated to his mom.

"It was very honest and very heartfelt," coach Lea commented on Luke's performance.

Jhyleanne Rington sang "What The World Needs Now" and was given a standing ovation by coach Bamboo.

Coach Lea said Jhyleanne has a future because the young artist knows how to tell a story through her singing.

Last to perform was Reynan Dal-Anay, who was in his full Manobo costume once again. The young artist is a member of the Tigwahanon Manobo Tribe of Bukidnon.

Reynan chose "Amazing Grace" for his Sing Off piece and he didn't fail to impress with his powerful vocals. Coach Lea also gave him a standing ovation.

After the six performances, coaches Bamboo and Sarah Geronimo were asked who their picks were.

Coach Bamboo named Jhyleanne and Reynan as the best singers, while coach Sarah Geronimo's choices were Esang and Reynan.

Coach Lea had the last say, though. She based her choices on who she believed could handle the challenges of the live shows.

She picked Reynan Dal-Anay and Esang De Torres as her Top 2 that will move on to the live semi-finals.
