20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for "The Martian" which stars Matt Damon as Mark Watney, a NASA astronaut stranded in Mars.
A group of astronauts are on a mission in Mars when they encountered a fierce storm forcing them to head back to Earth immediately.
Everyone thinks Watney, who gets left behind, is already dead… until he is able to send a message back home.
A mission to rescue him, however, has been disapproved by NASA, so the other astronauts that had been with Watney in Mars defy the rules and come back to get him.
Directed by Ridley Scott, "The Martian" is based on the best-selling novel by Andy Weir. It opens in cinemas on September 30, 2015 (Philippines).
