Ai-Ai de las Alas has confirmed that she will indeed be working with the AlDub loveteam of "Eat Bulaga!" in the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Romcom-in Mo Ako" which will also star Vic Sotto.
When asked about the roles of Alden Richards and Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza, though, Ai-Ai told pep.ph that she still has no idea.
Ano ang role nina Alden at Yaya Dub sa movie nila ni Vic?
“'Yan ang hindi ko alam. Basta, parang kami ni Alden, tapos sila [Vic] at Yaya Dub, ganoon," sabi ng Comedy Queen.
News about Alden and Maine being included in the movie came out last week. But the question is, will the Dubsmash Queen have speaking lines in the MMFF entry?

The AlDub fever started invading daytime television during that moment when studio-based host Alden was flashed on the split screen while Maine's character Yaya Dub, who was in a remote location, was doing a dubsmash. The Kapuso heartthrob was smiling and seemed to be so amused at Yaya that time.
Seeing the dimpled smile of Alden, Yaya lost concentration and got shy. Her "masungit" character then flashed her first smile. She also did the first "pabebe wave" in that episode.
What was then the "Problem Solving" segment became "KalyeSerye." No more lines of people wanting to get their (more often than not nonsensical) problems solved. Instead, they now pile up to have a glimpse of Yaya and Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola), while people at home tune in to follow the AlDub love story.
They are always a top trending topic on Twitter (Philippines and worldwide) in every episode, and recently, even on a Sunday when there's no "Eat Bulaga!"
Phenomenal, indeed!
But will the AlDub popularity carry on to the big screen to help make a box-office hit?
