The Top 4 of "The Voice Kids Philippines" season 2 were named during the part 2 of the semi-finals that was held on Sunday night, August 23, 2015. The episode was aired live from the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila.
Both artists of coaches Lea Salonga and Bamboo Mañalac's respective teams made it to the Top 4.
The name of Team Lea's Reynan Dal-Anay was the first to be announced to make it to the Top 4 by host Luis Manzano. The 11-year-old singer who belongs to the Tigwahanon Manobo Tribe of Bukidnon got the highest (32.98%) percentage of votes from among the Top 6.
Reynan was joined in the list by Team Bamboo's Elha Nympha who was very emotional during the announcement. The 11-year-old artist from Quezon City got 18.23% of votes, the 3rd highest in the official tally.
Next to make it was Esang de Torres of Team Lea, the youngest of the Top 6. The 8-year-old pride of Tondo, Manila got the 2nd highest percentage of votes with 19.24%.
Completing the Top 4 was Team Bamboo's Sassa Dagdag who got the 4th highest percentage of votes with 13.71%. The unique singing style of the 12-year-old artist from Angeles, Pampanga captured the hearts of the televiewers.
Meanwhile, Sarah Geronimo's artists Zephanie Dimaranan and Kyle Echarri failed to make the Top 4. The two contestants only got 9.4% and 6.43% respectively.
The Popstar Royalty was luckier during season 1 when both her artists made it to the grand finals as the grand winner (Lyca Gairanod) and runner-up (Darren Espanto).
It's going to be an exciting 2-part grand finals next weekend. Will the vote standing of the Top 4 still be the same? Will Reynan be this year's winner?
Just like the semis, the grand finals will also be aired live from the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Catch it on ABS-CBN on Saturday night after "Home Sweetie Home" and on Sunday night after "Wansapanataym."
