Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz are set to reunite in a new movie project this year.
The news was revealed on Instagram by Star Cinema on Friday, July 31, 2015.
Posting a photo of the long-time love team taken during the DVD and book launch of their hit movie "One More Chance," the movie outfit wrote in the caption: "Bea and John Lloyd will star in an upcoming movie this year to be directed din of course by Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina!"
The reunion movie project has already been revealed by John Lloyd himself during an interview with the entertainment press last June.
"Mayroon kaming gustong gawin ni Tita Malou (Santos). Mayroon silang istorya ni Ma'am Charo (Santos-Concio) at gusto nila ako ang gumawa. Kung matutuloy 'yon at kung matutuloy according to plan ang naka-lineup, I'm going to do a movie with Bea this year," he said.
Meanwhile, the two Kapamilya stars are still not sure if their reunion movie will be connected to "One More Chance," which was also directed by Direk Cathy.
"Is this a part two, or a sequel, or another story? Maski kami ni Bea, wala pa kaming alam," John Lloyd told reporters on Friday, as quoted by abs-cbnnews.com.
Bea, on the other hand, was thrilled that there's a demand for the continuation of the movie that was released in 2007.
"Siyempre nakaka-excite na may clamor, na gusto ng mga tao. Pero kahit ako mas nangingibabaw 'yung kaba kung kaya ba naming gawin," the actress said.
Before that movie project happens, though, Bea will be seen opposite Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta in the movie "The Love Affair" which opens in cinemas this August 12, 2015, also from Star Cinema.
