Aside from his Twitter posts that support the LGBT community and condemns the no crossdressing policy, comedian and Valkyrie co-owner Vice Ganda talked to "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" regarding the controversy that the club is currently into.
On June 12, 2015, fashion designer Veejay Floresca was denied entry allegedly for crossdressing.
She was only allowed entry when she showed her California State ID that states she's a female.

Another transwoman, Miss Gay Manila 2015 Trixie Maristela, however, wasn't able to get in because she doesn't have an ID that states she is female.
Vice Ganda said she was upset by the issue, however, his club co-owners said that there's no such policy regarding crossdressers in the establishment.
"I was upset. Tas sabi ko kung merong no crossdressing policy, ano'ng ginagawa ko sa loob, e, crossdresser ako?" the "It's Showtime host said in an interview.
He also said that he won't allow such policy in the club.
Hindi na ina-apply 'yung gano'n ngayon," he said.
He's also in full support of the LGBT community and wants to have a meeting with them.
"Sinasabi ko nga sa LGBT community, I'm one of you and I am one with you.
